Fresh Start...

So. Yeah.

Once upon a time in a galaxy far, far away, I had a blog here, starting back in 2008.

Which I hadn’t updated in over a year.

I lost my Grandmother on December 17th 2008. She was my hero, and it really messed with my head. Almost two years later, and I still haven’t figured it out. I’ve been having trouble writing, and in figuring out what to do with my life. If you asked me to show what I’ve done the last two years, the results would be pretty dismal.

But I’m done with drifting along in a cloud of anger and sadness. It might take a while, but i’m determined to pull myself back and get on with my life. I’m trying to give myself a fresh start, both in life and in writing, so I decided to do the same here. I deleted all my old posts and gave the site an updated look...a symbolic sort of thing.

I plan on posting my writing, both shorts and longer excerpts and possibly my artwork and other creations too. I’ll also be posting playlists of mood music, and any other random crap that bounces into my head and distracts me.

As for my current writings:

• My ‘in-progress’ stories on Fanfiction.net are still ongoing, albeit slowly.
• For the moment I have decided not to proceed with the ‘Firsts’ sequel for now. I might revisit down the line, especially if I edit and fix up ‘Firsts’ like I’ve been thinking about doing.

I will however be posting new stuff. The majority will be shorts, most likely the result of my current uni course (creative writing, lol). There might also be excerpts from bigger things I’m working on, too. I have a lot of ideas, getting them down is a little trickier, but hopefully it’ll work out for the best.

I will always appreciate replies, whether they’re comments on posts or reviews of new pieces. I love constructive criticism, so please feel free to tell me if you think anything could use changing.
